Looking forward to this meeting, with a great collection of Alpina's, but
where are the Bi Turbo's

Since I have joined the great Alpina Community I have not seen a single
Bi Turbo either on display or in a car park in the UK

Chas should go to this

Is there going to be many e28 alpinas, such a lovely rare beast. They seemed to come out of the woodwork when I last saw them at Donny back in 2003

Well, our final count at Gaydon was 30.

Yep 30 ALPINA's across all model ranges and dating back to early 80's. This didn't include the B2.8 on Concours and the 2002Tii Alpina on the 02 stand, as well as several other genuine cars around the car parks.

You can find the pictures here

Thanks to all the owners who turned up in their beautifully prepped cars to display and also thanks to all the vistors to our stand.

I think I can safely say that there are a lot of people who are now far better educated about ALPINA and what the cars are all about - instead of believing that they are simply "tuned BMW's".

The whole day was well organised and thankfully the weather held.

Here's to the next one - perhaps we can get a group of ALPINA's on the test track together and see whether we can top the 150mph that one of our members managed on the long straight....
