   Hi,
I've recently re-joined the club and I'm looking to upgrade the head unit in my E39 B10 V8 (1999)  - double din, integrated satnav. DAB, reversing camera, phone, etc.

I'm sure this has been answered before but I'd appreciate any advice on best brands to look at and recommended installers, ideally anywhere between Birmingham, Bristol and Cardiff. Any particular issues for the Alpina compared to the 540i?
