We are hoping to have a stand again in 2026 at Glamis Castle for the 50th Transport Extravaganza which will be on 11th & 12th July. This is a fantastic show and given that it will be the 50th anniversary we are certain that 2026 will be better than ever. There are a few changes to previous years, and we need to comply with these changes to ensure that we are able to get a stand. One of the changes from the shows organisers is that every club stand must have public liability insurance, which we need to provide proof of. Paid up members of BMWCC are automatically covered by the clubs insurance, given that, we will only be able to accept cars on stand from fully paid up BMWCC members. https://bmwcarclubgb.uk/join/" rel="nofollow - Join the BMW Car Club - BMW Car Club GB The 2nd change to 2026 is that we MUST have cars on stand for both days otherwise we will not get a stand. Not everyone needs to display both days but we must have a high quality stand on both days. There is camping on site for anyone who wishes to camp, others can arrive on the day, or most of us are likely to stay overnight in a hotel like we have done on previous years, a hotel will be arranged early in 2026 once we know we are confirmed to have a stand. I don't have campsite prices at the moment, prices for cars have been frozen again for 2026 and are £8 per car. If you wish to show your car on stand with us please complete the below details and I'll be in touch nearer the time for our entry being submitted (19/01/26). Thanks everyone. I'll be submitting the entry form on Monday night 19/01, anyone who wishes to camp will need to let me know before the form goes in as it needs to be booked and paid for at the same time as the show, camping is £20 for the weekend, almost everyone is staying at the hotel or arriving the mornings of the show. After some discussions we've decided to stay at the same hotel as the previous couple of years, Premier Inn Dundee North. You can either book for 2 nights, arriving on Friday 10/07, or 1 night on the Saturday 11/07. Please be aware that we will be meeting at the hotel to handout show passes and leaving the hotel at 8am on both days to head to the show, we will also have another meeting spot at Meigle for those that live/stay locally, we won't be making any other stops enroute to the show. I've had confirmation that we have secured a stand for this year, car club spaces were filled in under a week! There's still a couple of outstanding payments, if you could get those to me asap that would be great. We're still looking at prices for hotels and we'll let you know asap so we can get booked. Payment for each car is £8 (same as last year) and this is for the whole weekend and covers 2 adults and 2 children under the age of 16, any extra passes are £15.
