Hi,

I have a 2013 X5 E70 40d xDrive M Sport and I have got used to using the automatic handbrake so that we I stop the handbrake goes on automatically and I don't have to sit with my foot on the brake.

When I switch off the car is resets to being off and I have to press the button when I next start the car to switch it on again.

I have Carly and have looked to see if it is possible to have this enabled by default but I have not spotted anything.

Does anyone know if it is possible to have the auto handbrake function enabled by deafult? and if so, can it be done through Carly or would I have to used something else?

Hi Richard,

I've just bought a 2012 3.0d and I have Carly also.

Yesterday I spent a good few hours going through all the recoding section to see what was worth doing, and I did not see anything to do with the Auto-h/brake.

Whilst I'm here, are there any nice hidden features/decodeable bits worth doing in your opinion pls?

Hi Chris,

Yeah, I couldn't find it either. It may be available as an option within ISTA-P but I am wary about using that.

I have coded the following items on my E70

- Flash lights on alarm on/off

- Audible signal on alarm on/off

- Mirrors to autofold when lock/unlock

- digital speedometer in dash

I'm not a fan of the fog lights coming on when you turn but I have seen that this appears to be an option.
