Mine has done Only 85,000 miles and although has some wear and tear is in pretty good condition. The roof is a bit erratic and sometimes does not work and the air con is broken. Can anyone recommend a non main dealer garage in N London to fix these issues. I would also be interested in views about whether it is worth spending the money to get the issues fixed.

Hi. It sounds like those are relatively minor faults and so worth fixing. The best way is to get a good independant BMW workshop to have a look and give you a feel for the costs. You have a car there that is going up in value slowly. However running an old BMW is more a passion thing than a financial investment thing.
