Hi guys just joined this forum has I have recently bought a 2016 320 d m sport saloon.I have owned bmw bikes before but never a car.I have a question that I hope you can help me with.When driving with no radio on I hear a lot of creaking noise inside the car it does have a leather interior but it's doesn't sound like creaking leather.More like the car body its 6 months old with 9000 miles and it's annoying to say the least just wondered if this is. Fault with this model before I ring bmw under warranty.

Does it make this noise on all surfaces? Have you checked that your tyres are inflated to the guidelines? I suppose you have tried moving the seats or even try it with and without a person in the passenger seat.

If you ring BMW Warranty they will tell you to take it to the dealer, the dealer will no doubt tell you that they will charge to examine the car and that unless a fault is found you will or may be liable for an labour costs involved. This is all pretty standard procedure with warranty claims, if the car is new you should not have any excess to pay.

Rattles, squeaks, noises are very annoying, my car is not new but I get a rattle from one of the indicator sticks, but only on certain surfaces. Good luck with this, but if you are really not satisfied after they have examined the car and it persists you may ask for you money back under the Sales of Good Act.
