I have been a real fan for Megs products, however discovered Zymol for the first time upon various postings. I have never used it and the results shown on John (Detailer) did look amazing. Are the Zymol products way superior to megs? anyone used both as your opinion would help. As I am attending Gaydon for the first time I was going to buy more stuff from Megs stand. Thanks.

You'll find everyone has an opinion and no two will agree.
Also, if you speak to any "Detailers", they will usually use different products for different cars and use a combination of products. My current favourite "detailing" products are Dodo Juice Be interested to see what the "Show & Shine" winners use?

I have used a variety of polishes during the years of showing, ranging from the old Simoniz hard wax, Autoglym, Meguiars and now Zymol.
With Meguiars I found it finshed very smoothly and glass-like to the touch but the depth of shine wasn't there. My friend was using Zymol on his similar car and that was what I used for comparison.
Since I have swapped to Zymol I too have the depth of shine and by using a higher degree of carnuba then the finish is there as well. I use the Glasur version of Zymol.
Just my thoughts.

Its difficult to say one product is superior to another. Products vary, applications vary and people vary.
All i can suggest is look at the items you like using, and see if some of the detailers use similar products, and then you just have to try them. Also look at detailingworld.com |

When I had time to detail cars I used Swissvax products. I found their products superior in most applications - but very expensive!

Hi All, Its interesting here your opinions. The show was excellent on Sunday and I ended up going to Megs and buying more products. My favourite at the moment is The Gold Class liquid wax. Also went to the MStyle boys and spent a small fortune! Driving 100 miles on Saturday to see MStyle's (Autoenhance) show room, probably end up spending more money. They are really nice people to deal with.
