Hi,
has anyone had a problem with water ingress/water sloshing around in car? I noticed it this morning and had water in my boot area (first aid kit was damp and water in rear drivers side behind rear light area). I've booked it in at the local dealer to me Blue Bell Crewe for investigation. I am concerned as there is a lot of electrics in the boot area. I bought my car as an approved used car so hopefully still covered under warranty. Any advice appreciated. Thanks

Had a similar issue with mine, under the gar the water drain gets blocked, I opened up the drain and a swimming pools worth gushed out and drenched me. Be aware of that, I had it start to slosh again so pushed a hole into the drain plug its been fine since.

Where's the roof motor on these?
If it's anything like the fiasco that the e85 Z4 owners go through, then the motor is in a plastic well where the drains are...which fills up with water once debris blocks the drains. A 'simple' relocation of the motor to the boot solves the motor issue permanently, but the blocked drain issue recurs so has to be added as a regular service item.

The approved used warranty should 100% cover it, however if you do not feel they have 100% rectified the issues and are not taking extended warranty after the original 12 months cover I suggest the following. Write to the dealer stating that the issue is not resolved and therefore they have a fiduciary responsibility to resolve the issue even if your warranty period has expired. I did this with a different issues relating to passive module failure. I hope it is easily resolved but belt and braces is often the essential approach.
