Lakes run Sun 13th Sept 2020. Andy & Sam are helping me organise it as it’s in their neck of the woods. They have come up with a nice hotel offering Dinner Bed & Breakfast for £57 per person. The only problem we have is they will only hold the rooms until 14th of December. Sam has had a good look and even the premier inns are well over £100 per night room only so I am looking for a list to see how many people would be interested and able to commit and pay for hotel by 14th Dec. Please don’t think this means you can’t come if this is not for you. The Sunday’s run will be available to book until well into next year and if our chosen hotel is fully booked by then you can always find alternative accommodation. So could you please add your names below only if you want to book hotel and can do so by 14th of December. If we get enough interest I can message everyone with details to book hotel. |

Ok we are looking good.
Sam has been in touch with hotel to reserve those dates. They still would like us to book by 14th Dec but will now accept a £30 deposit per room with the balance due by Aug 2020. If all interested could PM me with your details and car club membership number I’ll reply with booking details as soon as I have them. |

Ok update on our Lakes run we had been waiting to see if we could still go ahead.
I’ve spoke with Andy & Sam In the Lakes and also Issy in Scotland. We have decided it will be in all of our best interests to cancel the event for this year. Although the hotel would take us we are still concerned as to how we would socially distance everyone. Also on the Sunday we would struggle to find suitable places for us to stop. Public toilets in many places are also still closed. With Scotland not being as far on as England with regards to group gatherings and travel they may be unable to make it. Sam has contacted the hotel and they are happy to move the whole event to the same weekend next year. Deposits paid will be held until then. If this is no good for some people I’m sure if you contact the hotel they will be happy to make alternative arrangements. We look forward to seeing everyone hopefully sooner rather than later stay safe.

Hi all can everyone who booked up and paid a deposit please put your name below stating booked and deposit paid please as hotel are saying only 4 people have booked.
They have agreed to give us same week next year but they want Sam to sign to say we will fill 20 rooms and as they say there is only 4 rooms booked she doesn’t want to commit to the responsibility of paying for 20 rooms. I suspect they have everyone’s bookings but not down as with our group.
