I am looking for a Lady driver to somehow organise at least 6 Lady or Ladettes BMW owners to exhibit their car at Kimbolton - these Ladies will get prime show time position on the display area and free glass of champagne on arrival at Kimbers. Please don't all rush take your time and enjoy a beautiful spot - Catherine of Aragon did whilst she lived at the Castle. Very nice Lady! |

Norman,
Andrew and me would appreciate it if you could please assist the Marshals at Kimbolton. This is because you have previous experience and also good in dealing with exhibitors. regards

Loving the fact that the most recent postings under the 'Ladies Section' are from two of the 'lads' ? I'm all for equality; very commendable! Lol |

Tony I was going to stay Sat night at Hitchin, but after investigating the place on tripadvisor I gave it the miss in favor of the Holiday Inn. Not sure what else is going on in that area but hardly a hotel available anywhere. I will be travelling from Peterborough, I don't mind helping, so what is the plan?

Yeah I will need a big dress, but have not got any sling backs or a bag to match. I think you got the wrong Club the X dressers do not own Alpinas.
Tony ok I have High viz so will be there early, coming down from Peterborough, how long is that? |

Thought I'd join in the fun. If you have any enthusiasm for driving at all my strong advice is to take the B roads from Peterborough to Kimbolton. Initially head for Elton and then pick your way down to the B660 from there. Great roads all the way ! If I can get up early enough I will be having some fun on there myself before arriving at the show.

Thank you for the suggestion, I am only staying at Peterborough as there was no suitable accommodation to a standard I require nearer or at a price I want to pay. My aim will be to get to Kimbolton on time to carry out the task I have been requested to do. This meet like many I attend is not on my doorstep so I shall be travelling back to West Sussex afterwards.
Therefore I shall be giving the B roads a miss on this occasion, I also like to avoid small and narrow roads in a large car. Having been stationed at Honington in Suffolk and Watton and Barnham in Norfolk I am very familiar with the roads of East Anglia including those of the Fens. Little seems to have changed on those road as this is mostly rural agricultural land as you know. Edited by Norrie - 10 Jul 2014 at 10:21am |

1. Thread started by Issus aka Tony Skerett.
2. I am selective about anything I offer to Ladies. 3. I am even more selective about offering Champagne to Ladies. 4. I am not intending to offer anything to Ladies or Gentlemen at this event. 5. I am perfectly happy to talk to anyone about cars, as I am an equal opportunity car chatter. As those who actually turn up will know, 6. Hope that answers the question?
