I am in the process of adding some illustrated technical articles on the 'How to' forum, which may be of particular interest to Z3 owners, as although they apply to many BMW models, they were written around work I have done on my Z3. Most have been published over the last few years in 'Straight Six,' so this forms a handy archive.

Brilliant, thanks Mike.
These articles are just "good to read", I don't think it matters if you have the same model, if you have the interest you WILL want to read them.

Think about what you can do for the club, not what it can do for you... |

It depends on a few factors, but I hope to be there - particularly as there are camping facilities for us poor OAPs!

The latest article was the one on overhauling the air con belt tensioner, but it's about time I did something to the car which would prompt an article - the trouble is that it's too reliable! I have a few ideas in the pipeline, so watch this pace!
I could easily turn out some articles on the old K-Jetronic injection system used on the E21, and the LE-Jetronic used by the E30, but perhaps these would not be of interest to today's members. Maybe? And no - I will not be at Gaydon, as it costs me about £800 to attend from where I live. I have just returned from the UK (to see 'West side Story' at Milton Keynes) and will be going again in October to see 'Dirty Dancing!' Edited by Mike Fishwick - 18 Jun 2014 at 11:36am |
