Hi all just a few pics of the car now fitted with koni sports adjustables. Its lifed the car a little as I first lowerd it on just springs 60/50 but this was a real shock and back bone killer along with causing me no end of problems with tyres rubbing. I could have done with a few other parts like some new strut collars and dust shields but my local BMW dealer dosnt realy hold any stock parts for the car anymore which is understandable due to its age, anyhow all ended up well and the car is totaly transformed and i love it ...

Heres a few Pics -

We have Koni Sports dampers on our Golf TDI, and they are excellent.  We fitted them when the car was new, back in 2000, and have never had to use the lifetime warranty they came with, and after 236,000 miles (July 2021) they are just like new, and within 1% of each other at the French MoT test.

The unlimited warranty is restricted to the owner who purchased them, but it is still pretty good.  I remember buying one for my Vincent motorcycle back in 1966, when the warranty was a mere 100,000 miles!

Of course, when they become a bit sloppy, you can always tighten up the damping rate - I'll give some feedback in another 150,000 miles!

The Eibach springs fitted at the same time are also like new, with no sagging or other problems, and the Powerflex bushes have now covered 70,000 miles without problems.
