Hi ,please can some one help.
I have 18" type 108 alloys on my Z4. These are I think called composite type wheels and I was led to believe by my BMW dealer when I bought the car that I could replace the rim sepearately from the rest of the wheel. I went to my BMW dealer today and they said they do not sell the rims seperately but a wheel specialist may do.
Has any one replaced these rims or know of a company, ideally in the Oxford/Reading area that would do this.

Thanks

I've not heard of parts of wheels being replaced by a dealer - surely it's more economical, for them, just to replace the wheel?

IIRC - early 108s had a problem with the lacquer peeling and a number of people had wheels replaced under warranty.

Thanks for the reply. That's what has happened to mine. The lacquer has peeled of on all 4 wheels. The car came with  these wheels when new, back in 2004. I'm not sure if i will still be covered by the warranty but i'll check.

Thanks again
