21st August Central and Thames Seaside East Coast Trip.

         Itinerary

Meet at Fatty Arbuckles Downham Market 10am for Breakfast  -    (https://www.arbuckles.biz/)

 on to: see Flixton below
Flixton a small village in North Suffolk which hosts the Norfolk and Suffolk                       Aviation Museum Flixton (https://www.aviationmuseum.net/index.html)
So dear Members from Downham Market to Burgh Castle via Flixton is 84miles which is about a total of under two hours driving of which nearly 50mins is spent on the idealistic A1066, of course there will be watering stops on the way!
Then onto Burgh Castle Norfolk from Flixton about 33 minutes
So named after the 3rd Century Roman Cavalry Fort, still intact except for the sea facing wall which collapsed into Waveney marshes. If there was an atmospheric spot with Snipes and sea fowl calling, this is it. It is situated on the east bank of the River Waveney, near Gt Yarmouth. In the village is the Fishermans Inn which is an ideal spot to end the day with a good meal.

Some RSVP's are required as some planning is required - to central@bmwcarclubgb.co.uk or text me on 07865284248.

More events to come Regards Tony
