Hi, new to the group and have problems. I own a 2014 series 1 120 M sport, today whilst blasting up the M6 under load the car started shaking its self to bits and making a loud noise. After easing off the throttle and coming off the slip road I found the clutch pedal right down on the floor, flicked it back up with my big toe and drove it steadily with no problems. Back on the motorway, under load again and the same thing happens. Any ideas anyone please ???? If I drive it slowly no problems but if I accelerate hard it goes all pear shaped.

Sounds like clutch slip, caused by the collapse of a few diaphragm spring fingers.

Check your fluid level and also your master cylinder, that sounds like a likely culprit...
