Hi,

Are there alternative suppliers to BMW for suspension arms? BMW price is about £1,300 incl. VAT for 4.

Also, what is a safe lifespan for tyres? Mine have good tread but are 9 years old (Pilot Sports)

Thanks
Rob

Hey,

Check with BMR in Crawley if there are any options on suspension components. Possibly expensive as they are Alpina specific, or try Alloy Wheels Direct they can supply Alpina parts often cheaper than Sytner.
As for Tires, from what I have seen people say between 6 and 10 years old depending on condition. IF yours are well looked after, no unusual wear, cut's, splits etc then you might have a little life left but changing them soon would be advisable.

Mark.

Thanks Mark

I decided to buy BMW parts and replace the tyres.

Good move, probably best. Worth doing it right.
