Hi Rich.
as with any older car it is totally down to condition, service history, miles and owners.
Buy on condition seems to be what the classic motoring guys always say thus take care and get any car properly looked over by someone who knows the model.

Do your own research in terms of buyers guides, known problem areas etc all available on-line these days

As for values do diligent research of same models from Auto Trader, Pistonheads, Car & Classic and ofcourse the popular E sales platform we all use.
The values could be spread far and wide but do take time and do noy rush in.

Hope that helps point you in right direction.

Hi Steve
Thanks for the reply. The reason for my post was a friend of mine as been offered one. He is a mechanic & runs his own garage & from the photos i have been shown & with looking at the mot history, it looks a very clean car. Like my original post mentions done about 48k miles & hasn’t been on the road for about 8 years hence the low mileage. Colour is bright red, black leather Interior & standard looking car from what I can tell on photos.

I have had a little look on eBay & there were about 4 on there at the time of looking, one was classified so a dealer, that is white & done 124k @ just under £30k but most starting at about £15k with higher mileage & one at a stupidly high price of nearly £60k. This one is being offered at no way near as much as these.

Regards
Rich

Just had quick look on
Like you say big prices for the M635 models
The std 635csi seem to be £15 - £18k but alot more miles.

As said it is down to condition, and forgot to add Spec.

If it is a car you want and in a condition you are happy with then £15 - £18 may well be right.

May be worth asking Club Office who is the present e24 Register Captain as they should have better idea on what to look for and what current values for same
