Those members who attended the Goodwood Festival of Speed, Moving Motor Show on the Thursday in 2016 & 2017 and those members who approached me and asked about 2018, will be disappointed to learn there are no complimentary tickets for general admission, this year from BMW.

I can only apologise I asked the Club Office and several occasions if there were tickets and was given a number of responses none of which could tell me either way.

Finally I contacted BMW UK Limited who responded in 5 minutes to say there are none.

If you are one of the 15-20 or so people who came before I can only once again apologise, it may be too late, but according to BMW UK Limited tickets are available for the Thursday at 72 (Seventy Two Pounds) each, parking is in a field.

If you have any further questions about why there are no tickets or why we have only just found out please take it up with the Club office as I have no specific answer other than there are none!

I am sorry if you have booked time off work, I did explain this to the office on several occasions. It may be they have some further information from whoever in the Club has a relationship with BMW UK, in 2017 the Chairman secured the tickets, but he has resigned now.

I should also state that I personally ensured that members only got the tickets and no tickets were either sold or put on ebay ( I do not have an account) by me or any others I gave the tickets to. Tickets which could not be used were destroyed on the morning of the event for the day the relate to, ie Thursday. In the past we have had members from Norfolk, Cambridgeshire, Somerset attend and make use of the tickets along with those from the SE and Wessex regions.

No one has suggested anything has misappropriated in terms of tickets allocated to the BMWCCGB, however it is alleged that some complimentary tickets given by BMW UK to other parties may have been misused, if true perhaps thats why none are available?
