Hi all
Hope this is the right place to ask this q - i've recently bought an 88 635 and the s/wheel points about 45 degrees to the left when travelling straight ahead! Is this the simple job it appears of popping out the badge, undoing the nut (anyone know what size?) and lifting / turning the wheel and refitting? Any gotchas / info on torque settings for refit etc? Thanks! James

Looks as if the tracking has been done badly, and probably adjusted on one side only - typical incompetent tyre fitter work!
Have a proper alignment check, by a decent tyre dealer. I hesitate to suggest using your local dealer, who will charge the earth for the same thing - depends on how rich you are, and how developed your sense of value for money is. |
