Along with a Bonnet and bumper re spray, after much deliberation gone for new projector headlamps / Angel eyes and clear indicators front and side. I know it takes away originality (Old lamps safely tucked away) Pleased with the fresh new look.

How are the new headlights as regards brightness? Are they better then the original or not. Reason for asking was I'm thinking of purchasing some.

Seem a lot brighter, even taking in to account the clearer plastic lens the projectors seem a stronger whiter light. Not been out in the dark yet though, doesn't happen much.
Easy to fit, Only issue i had was on the replacement lamps the N/S indicator wire not long enough had to cut and extend plus you need to take the washer bottle off to remove the O/S lamp and fit replacement. If i can do it anyone can, easy job looks well IMO. Not 100% happy with side repeaters, cheap alternative to factory supplied and it shows.

Did you have to connect the angel eyes part to the side lights to make them work? So you have to have the side lights on to illuminate the angel eyes.

Not done that bit yet.
The wires are there to connect. 1 to earth 1 to the sidelights. So yes they will only work with the sidelights on. Could wire to ignition but for the time being going with the "sidelights on mode"

They sell either the angel eyes by themselves or a complete headlight with the angel eyes in on ebay.
If you buy the separate angel eyes you may have to modify your existing headlight to make them fit. |

I got them of EBAY shop £250 including delivery simple fit if you go for the angel eye through the side lights. Really makes the front look good without taking too much away from originality.
Didn't fancy putting the original lights in the oven to split to fit angel eyes plus lenses were looking a bit tired even after re conditioning kit
