Use a fine pointed paint brush [artist type] to do the touching up with as it is easier to get the paint into smaller chips. HTH

Chipex kits is the worst £47 i have ever spent in the last month
Paint does not stay in the chips when you wipe over with the not so special blending solution
Good colour match tho lol
£7 touch up from dealer and an arist brush or cocktail stick would be money better spent imho

Apparently its as good as Chipsaway would get your car looking according to someone i know
Dont get me wrong,if you have road rash (small chips the size of pin holes) it works, but for normal chips it dont
Oh and the paint does not cure on original paint
Maybe its just me,but googling it does not fill me with confidence
For big chips its got to be back to basics i think,a blog, leave to harden then sand down and buff up

thanks pete. your spot on there mate, small chips were no problem but the bigger ones dont want to fill, the paint pops out as you are supposed to wipe over, as you say, back to basics.

If you clean out the chip first with a solvent before filling this will aid adhesion, plus you can use a heat gun to speed up the drying process. there are plenty of ways of sorting but you will have fallen asleep with all the reading so i wont bother lol |
