Was insured with Adrian Flux last year after seeing there add in the club magazine for £400. Got my quote for this year ..........£40 up !!!!!! Angry Called after scrolling down e-mail to find in large red letters "We will beat any quote " ......got a very nice lady who said she would see what she could do .......best price was down to £390 !!!!I asked if that included my car club discount ? Yes it did !!! Cry Told her i had been quoted a LOT LESS .....to which she replied " that is our price i'm afraid ..." when i reminded her of the wording in the e-mail (beat any price e.c.t ) she replied " Mmmm ....again that is our best price" ......a little false advertising there i think ???Thumbs Down

Why is it when you call up any car insurance company they quote you ...........then when you say "No that is too expensive " ......"Oh! hang on a tick & i will speak to the manager see if we can get any discounts " ..........come back a few seconds later ..." The manager has autherised me to discount it a little more for you " .........why the heck not just say this is the lowest price we can do for you ??????? Happened to me with the company i am with now origanal quote £375 .......after a bit of "No that is still to expencive " & two  "managers discounts" being autherised i got it for £250 !!!!Why all the faffing about ?????
Well that is my wee rant over for now ...but i would be interested in others comments Big smile

Thats the world of insurance! I strongly believe that if it wasn't a legal requirement, not many people would bother with it!

I haven't been responcable for this increase in claims so why do i pay more just because of where i live & the car i drive ........ as i said before "RIP OFF !!"AngryAngryAngryAngryAngryAngry
