We're rightly quick to call out poor services and products, and I also think it's important to call out good and excellent services and products as well!

Just renewed my M4 policy with Howden Insurance (fourth or fifth time) and I wanted to share my delight and full satisfaction on a number of counts, and this after doing the full and multiple comparison-site searches as well.

Howden Insurance immediately gave me the cheapest renewal quote by some distance, but even dropped that a little further as well. Throughout, the quality of their support and service was exemplary, always attentive and patient, but never 'pushy' in the slightest.

Their written communications and documents were clear and easy to understand - something nopt always in evidence in the dense and jargon-laiden world of insurance.

Of course, the acid test is how do they deal with things when you actually need the insurance process to power up in a "claim" situation. Although this hasn't happened for a few years, when it did, they were excellent and always on hand to advise, inform and support. Again, exemplar performance!

Huge thanks to Luke, Daniel and Hollie at Howden (Thatcham branch) - to me, this is how motor insurance should be! Absolutely delighted! Thumbs Up Clap

I have my Alpina B7 & M235i with them, been using them for 14 years, no complaints from me.

Hello Norrie!

Thanks for yourr reply and info. Delighted to hear of a fellow satisfied and perhaps even delighted Howden customer. It's nice to catch people "doing things right" as opposed to the usual opposite!

My previous car before this current one was a M235i. Loved it! Now thinking of changing and perhaps going to the 2 series size and more compact "feel"... maybe a new/nearly new M2. That said, the new M240i isn't far off the M2's pace, and around £10k cheaper.Thumbs Up

Are you enjoying your M235i?

Thanks again and best wishes,

Peter

Hi Peter, well I was, until a Deer decided to jump out on me. I had it all fixed though our Van & truck rental business, but still 3K light. Now I have need of a new gear selector and some other bits on a 10 year old car so 1500 more.

Everyday driver for me, super quick think previous owner had remapped. Cant complain bought a good price and should last me a few more years. Dont see many on the road.
