I have just bought a 1 series 135i coupe. I collect it on April 3rd.
It has done 22000 miles . What are the service intervals ? I fancy changing the wheels are there any other BMW wheels that will fit ? I prefer a multispoke style. I will put some pics up when i collect the car. Brace yourselves there will be plenty of questions

Hi Dave
Congratulations on your new car & hope you enjoy it.is it your first time of bmw ownership. With regards to servicing it should tell you on the idrive system when things are due,as they use a cbs system(condition based service) Not sure on wheels, that is something i have never done on my BMW’s always stuck to standard spec Rich

Hi Dave, congratulations! Personally I never follow the BMW service intervals as I consider them unrealistic. I tend to change engine oil every 5000 miles and spark plugs every other oil change (at 10000). A year ago I purchased a BMW with similar mileage to yours. The first thing I did was change all fluids and have Vines check the car for any faults or issues as a preventative measure. Regarding wheels, there is a site where they trade BMW wheels for other BMW styles. Have a look here: https://mmtarwheels.co.uk/ I do not know them nor used them. Just saw the advert and perhaps a good start when you do your research. ![]() |
