Its fast approaching that time of year again the National Festival - Gaydon As in past years we have have a good display of Alpina's so lets make this year just as good.
If you would like to display your car this year please contact me via PM or email purebmw@btinternet.com
There are some pretty fundamental rules about this event (as with past years)
1. This the national festival of the BMWCCGB and so you need to be a BMWCCGB member to be able to display your car at the event. (anyone can buy advance tickets or turn up on the day - but you need to be a member to get your car on display. 2. You need to purchase and entrance ticket at least a week in advance of the event. (this is so you can get your ticket in advance of the event and also have time to receive your display pass) 3. Once you've got your ticket you should email me: (purebmw@btinternet.com) with your address details and I will post you a display pass about a week before the show date. The display pass gets your car down onto the display area - but you will also and importantly need an entrance ticket to get your car onto the display area. 4. All those wishing to display need to be at Gaydon around 8.30-9am as there are usually queues getting in and all display cars need to be in places for 9.30am - display cars should be prepared to be there till at least 2-3pm (the show usually finishes around 4pm) Tickets prices are: £9.95 each if you purchase before 31st May or £15 on the day, (children aged 6 to 16 £5.50 under 5's free) Prices from 1st June to 8th August will be £12.00 or £15 on the day (children 6 to 16 £6.50) Tickets can be obtained by contacting the BMWCCGB office on: 01225 709009 any questions - just ask... |

Simon, good to see your members signing up already.
Do plug the concours on the saturday and encourage your members making a full weekend of it to enter and take advantage of weekend tickets right up to the entry deadline 15 July.

Just love Ben's Alpina.. Hope you got some pics of the 3 cars parked together. He did mail me to say he parked next to a yellow csl & a triple webber e3 That kind of narrows it down to you a richard. |

Sadly my TWR / Alpina e21 isn't going to be ready in time for this year. Shame really as it's coming on a treat and will be pretty special once it's done.
