Thanks to all of the organisors and people who are manning the BMWCC stand this weekend at the Classic Car Show at the NEC, particularly Ross Harris for providing the display hardware making the club stands one of the best on show (although space available dictated a more compact area for the Coupe theme of the display) and, not forgetting the members whose immaculate cars are on display. This Sat and Sun have already been a sellout at the NEC, so my decision earlier in the summer to attend on the Friday to avoid some of the crowds payed off for me, particularly as i was the 1st member of the public into the show when it opened on Friday morning at 10am (the adavantage of being disabled !). I was still amazed though at how busy it did get in the afternoon though ! Some early photos of the show - Health Check before entry to the show ! |

I was fortunate enough to get some free tickets from my friend who's car was on the Maguiar's concourse stand. It was a very good show, although to see it properly you really need two days to get round everything fully. Nice Club stand too, with some beautiful cars on display, I had a brief chat with Cathy, Jeff's partner, while purchasing a seat cover for the M. Also had a brief chat with Steve Miller too, nice to meet you all. I've got some photo's as well, so I'll pop those up later.

Think about what you can do for the club, not what it can do for you... |
