Considering buying an E30 318is. I have seen one with over 160k?
I see this would not be an issue with a six pot: but with a four? Any views?

The M42 is a great engine but at 160K I would expect the car to be c.£500-£800 max

I would be more concerned with what the body work was like and if that was represented within the asking price, because E30's can rust in alot of different places. An engine can easily be changed body work can be more of a head ache.

I have seen a lot of 318iS's with in excess of 200K on them, as long as it's been well maintained then not an issue, though still, should be at the bottom end of the price bracket.....which isn't getting any lower.
