Looking to get the wheels refurbished and a new set of tyres ready for the summer season. Wheels are 14 inch BBS cross spokes and they need a powder coat finish, I live near to nottingham, so I'm tempted to use the wheel speacialist branch there, does anyone know if the service and workmanship are the same at the Nottingham or the Manchester branch, I've never dealt with either.
Also with regard to tyres, I'm tempted with the firestone TZ200, has anyone got any experience with these or recommendations for others. 195X65X14.
Help, Phil.

If you decide to use your local company, just ask if you can have a look at some of there work before committing to anything.
As for your tyres, since you not going racing your choice will be fine. |

Thanks for the advice Dennis, I thought the firestones would be OK, I've never had problems with that make before but I've never used the TZ200.
I'll get in touch with the wheel specialist and see if I can get over to see what they do.
Cheers Phil

In 2008 I used this company www.wheelrefurbishing.co.uk They picked up and delivered back. They charged me £50 cash a corner and £5 cash for the metal part of the centre cap.My wheels didn't need any work other than striping what original paint was on them, and re-powder coating. The service and finish on the wheels I had was superb.I hope this is a help.My wheels were also 14".
