I thought that my first contribution may be more positive than this but hey... So having joined the owners club and looking forward to the day out we were told to park at the Clarion hotel car park which we did .... however when we arrived at the dealership a member said that an e mail had been sent to say park at the farm next to the garage. No reason was given so we just stayed at the dealers. On getting home tonight ive had a nice present from the car parking company namely a 60.00 ticket for parking whilst not being a guest. Could I suggest that the e mails sent go to all members ( even new ones) in good time . Not a good start to my membership.

It's not good that you picked up a ticket. Cooper Sunderland were trying to get permission for parking at the Clarion, but moved the parking across the road instead. Unfortunately GDPR limits our ability to use e-mail (I can only send an all-member email via the office, which time did not allow for with this late change). My advice is to keep an eye on this forum (or our Facebook page) where we can post last minute changes, and did post instructions on this parking change.

I take on board your comments although im not sure that sending a message on the forum just after lunch counts as late , however maybe for future reference a closer liasion with the organiser may give the club more time to advise members at least it does not put the onus solely on the dealer to organise things.
