I Have a G16 840i and running Bridgestone Potenza S007 Tyres, roughly 9000 Miles on the clock and at least 1/2 tread left.  Problem I am having in this cold weather is the car cannot grip the road, back end steps out too easily.  Anyone else have this issue, anyone found different tyres work better?

Potenza S007 are basically summer performance tyres, so it may be worth investing in some new tyres all round or a second set of wheels for winter use with winter tyres fitted. (Later would be your best option if you have the storage space).

I run winter tyres on both the BMWs that see regular winter use. Definitely worth while in cold weather.
