Hi, would anyone know how to retrofit a 3rd brake light into a 1990 E30 325i saloon? My E30 didn't have one but managed to get hold of the parts required (still searching for a rear parcel shelf).
Just find that I'm constamtly looking in the mirror when stopping that I may get hit in the rear by another driver so hence the mission to get this 3rd light installed. Any help would be appreciated. Neil.

If you don't have check control then just connect it to one of the brake light wires at the rear cluster usually Green/black.
If you do have check control you need to wire it to the brake light signal prior to the check control module, usually Green/red |
