Hi all

I've just acquired the above. Seems to be in good nick, but hadn't been used much for the previous 7/8 years so am going through a general refresh to get it up to speed.

Looks like there is a small coolant leak, and I found this little nugget sitting in a very small pool of coolant on the engine mount. Looks like a jet/nozzle of some kind (I am very much a non-mechanic....), and is full of gunk, in case that is relevant (image should be pasted below, having considerable technical difficulties with the upload function....)

Can anyone identify it? I am taking it to CPC in Amersham soon to get a transmission issue sorted, so will add this to the list, but was hoping someone might be able to tell me what this was, and whether it is ok to drive in the meantime??!!

Thanks in advance for any advice/guidance!

Adey

I'm not sure, but it looks a bit like the screw on connector thingie from a spark plug. Is the inside on the left of the photo threaded ? So something like this
If it is some mechanic has dropped it there ages ago and you can just bin it.
Darkness gone, Tronic gone, go Darknes2, go Frozen, go Solo, go The Vibrator
