Hi, Hope someone can help. I was driving my Z3 turned right at a junction straighten up then there was apop/bang and a grinding noise. looked under car nothing hanging down and all tyres good. sound is related to moving speed not engine (that seems un affected) gears work. will lift front and rear today to see which end is affected, just seeing if anyone had come across this?
Thanks Paul 1999 T 1.9 (140bhp i think)

Well, took drivers front wheel off and found spring had snapped and then dug a nice groove in the tyre, so 2 new springs and at least 1 if not a pair of tyres. interestingly blackcircles says my z3 should be fitted with 225/50/r17 but it has 225/45/r17 does anyone what the correct profile should be? (not that i can afford to change all 4 tyres just wondered).
