Good day can you tell me if your servicing is accepted by BMW Warranty which insists on work carried out by Approved BMW Service centre.

Hello! Unfortunately we are not an Approved BMW Service Centre, however current UK legislation means that as long as your Servicing is carried out by a VAT registered specialist with Genuine BMW Parts, and your vehicle service history is updated through BMW's Passthrough system (keeping your Service records up to date with BMW, since Service Books are a thing of the past) your Warranty will be covered!

As well as BMW Passthrough system, we also have Dealer level diagnostic software, namely Autologic, so we can offer Diagnostics and Fault Finding at a much cheaper rate than your usual £100+ BMW diagnostic charge.

I hope this helps.

Many thanks!

Thanks for your reply, I was particularly interested that your claim service book thing of the past. I certainly always still get my service book stamped and I would be reluctant to buy any vehicle that did not have a book up to date. I guess the owner would have a receipt of service work carried out if the book is indeed redundant.
I wonder if this information has filtered down to the BMW Car Club GB for their concours competition in which one can lose 20 points for not having the service book?

Second question, do you supply genuine ALPINA parts?

In reference to Service Books no longer being used, I was referring to the newer F and G chassis vehicles which now store all of their Service history on their iDrive systems, of course if you have a Service book with your vehicle please do keep hold of it and keep it up to date!

We do source genuine Alpina items from time to time, please feel free to drop us an email at info@mstyle.co.uk if you have a particular part in mind and we will do what we can to help!
