Hi everyone, Tom from Livingston here, just joined the club so wanted to introduce myself.
I've got a Marina Blue M3 F80, a 65 plate. It's had various exterior and interior cosmetic mods, wheel spacers and a JB4 Stage 1 so now pushing 510bhp, luv the car and its great to drive! Do a bit of quarter mile sprinting at Crail, perhaps see some of you there or at one of the Scottish meets or shows. Cheers Tom |

Hi and Welcome.
Not many fellow Fifers on here. I’m from Lochgelly. There’s no monthly meet as such in December as it’s the Xmas party night next weekend which is down in Dumfries this year. The next monthly meet will be in January. Keep an eye out on here as details will provide posted sometime in December. |

I am loving being back in a beemer! Joined to meet some fellow enthusiasts and experience some of these country b-roads roads Scotland have to offer on the meet ups. Cheers |

Hi, I recently joined (at the NEC Classic Car Show), though I've attended one lunch meeting a short while ago. I have an E46 CSL which only comes out to play occasionally (time being the main issue, though it's SORN'd during the Winter months) & day-day drive an F81 330i M Sport+.
I look forward to attending one or two meetings to get to know people & some events. Time commitments elsewhere will prevent me from firm commitment all the time.

Evening All,
looking forward to meeting you all in due course.. bought z3 last summer to play about with, and then spent a bit of time getting it into respectable condition. still a bit to do, but hoping to blow away the cobwebs this weekend with the start of spring! Here is hoping to a dry weekend!... aiming to make the trip to Kenmore on Sunday. |

Greetings! Already introduced myself at the "general side" of the forum, but might as well post the same introduction here to get myself familiar more locally!
Decided to join the club, as it happens to be, that i will be moving to Edinburgh the upcoming fall, and it would be great to be in touch with you, the local enthusiasts. I have been a BMW enthusiast for all my life, and my first ever touch to BMW´s happened right as i was picked up from the hospitals birth-department by my dad with his then new E28! And by the way, i still do have that same E28 in my collection even today! As said, i have been an enthusiast for all my life, and it is awesome that i have also been lucky enough to collect some interesting BMW pieces to my own garage. I have been mostly enthusiastic about the so called youngtimer models, and my current collection varies all the way from for example E30 B3 2.7 Alpina Cabriolet to E34 M5 Hartge. I have also been interested in very basic model cars with special histories, like the E28 my dad bought new that i still have, or another E28 520i i have from the first owner with only 17k miles on the clock! If the brief glimpse to my garage raised interest, you can check out my instagram, @torkkelilauri, for more! As said, i will be moving to Edinburgh this fall and i will be living there at least for a year or so. This of course means, that i think i will have a lot of questions for you concerning the everyday life with cars, things like insurance policies etc. I will of course also try and provide some interesting BMW-related content to you and visit as many meets and other activities as possible! As one can determine, my BMW´s will be left to my garage in Finland as i leave. However, i already have something interesting planned concerning my stay! At first i thought, that i might bring my E92 daily to Edinburgh with me, but i quickly came to a conclusion that i wouldn´t enjoy driving the E92 at all, as to begin with, the steering wheel is on the wrong side! This got me thinking about the UK youngtimer markets, and through my friend i happened to stumble across a very interesting and unique RHD E36 Motorsport -department product. One thing is, that if / when the deal closes concerning the car i would be desperately needing some secure parking / garage space in the Edinburgh area! Well! Hope to meet as much of you during my stay as possible, get to enjoy the UK BMW culture and maybe even bring something with me from the Finnish BMW culture! Cheers! |

Hey!
Erin here... Prev member from a few years ago when I owned my first bmw which was a 420d coupe...I then had a 225d Msport.. Since got married in August we had a motorsport wedding. signed me and my hubby up again.. (part of his Christmas present) sold my 2016 BMW M2 last week it was fun but time to move on and I now have a 420d xdrive msport gran coupe in snapper rocks blue and I bought my husband an m140i shadow edition as a wedding present. We live in Falkirk we are massive bmw followers. Hubby now works for BMW and we follow bmw avidly in the BTCC. We are in our mid to late twenties and our first baby is on the way. We both attend and take part in car shows and regularly attend different forms of track racing. Would be lovely to meet and chat to like minded people who love their cars as much as us. Evening all.
I was pushed in the direction of this forum by Gary when I spoke to him earlier today. He was telling me what a friendly bunch you all are and I thought I would register with the forum. Had a few BMW's in the past and currently drive a M140i with a manual gearbox. I also love detailing, or attempting to anyway and can be found over on the Detailing World forum posting photos of beads of water sat on the car! I do love a good car show and I've been assured that the meets/shows from this forum are good. I hope to get to a meet soon. Cheers, Brian Edited by rojer386 - 10 Jan 2019 at 6:06pm |

Hello, I'm Alan, I've just joined and currently drive a BMW 335i E39. I also own a X5 40d. I used to enjoy the car scene in Scotland many years ago and now hope to get back into it this year.
Thanks for having me.

Thank you sure, I will. I used to have before Lotus Evora S. What a difference there can between two cars. Both are great to drive. i8 isn't probably as fast on the track but still very fast and a real enjoyment. It's also nice to have again a car with all possible gadgets (which function reliably)... And yes I love all the technology hidden inside the i8....
