DT,

Any tips for treating this issue outside when its cold? I found the nearest garage and stuck it under a blow dryer for about 20mins, that helped, but I missed the shot.

cheers

Yes, the condensation is caused by the temperature difference between your camera gear and the outside, try not to let your camera get warm by moving it around in the boot rather than in the car that way it will already be nearer to the outside temperature when you take it from the boot.

If going straight out from home to taker a shot then put your camera (open the bag if possible too as they are usually well padded so keep the warm in) in the coldest place in the house....but not the fridge or freezer Smile

Good advice, never experienced this before so took me by surprise. Will heed the above, thanks.

No, it's not my day job, I am a product manager for a software company, photography is a hobby.

I use Canon gear, I have a 50D, 7D and 5D MKIII plus a variety of lenses.......
