Hi everyone

Just seeing if anyone has had any dealings with DMS automotive
For Remapping seen on the sites and other media sites with a lot of foreign comments with not a lot of UKs really interesting to know abit more as I want to get my 135im remapped but there claiming nearly extra 70bhp is this correct on this car. They do seem very genuine but just asking if anyone has felt with or had any exspirence when then.

Cheers Bimmer Twh

I do not know anything specifically about this organisation, there are a whole number of companies who are able to remap a vehicle. However, there are a number of things one might take into account before having this done.

1. is the car you have not powerful enough already or where are you going to use this extra bhp?
2. have you put you car on a dyno and checked the bhp before a remap? I did and found it was 27 bhp more than the understated manufacturers declared bhp level.
3. What extra wear and tear might this put on the engine and its components?
4. If you do not declare a remap to your insurer it may invalidate your cover.

I do believe that manufacturers understate the bhp to ensure that the declared bhp is achievable in high ambient temperatures, ie 40C plus. in the UK were don't see these temps so there may be more capacity.
