Myferrylink.com - who used to be Sea France - are offering good discounts by buying several tickets in advance on their Dover/Calais route.

For example, six single tickets - which can be used as 3 return passages - cost £198 or £33 per crossing, which is a better deal than you will get anywhere.

Buying a greater number of crossings gives a larger discount still, with 10 singles - 5 return trips -  costing £310, or £31 per crossing, up to 18 crossings at £27 each way.

The only catch is that these crossings must be used with a year of purchase, and are not available on certain peak dates which are listed on the website.

Details of this offer - Carnet Tickets - are on their website, and to obtain them, ring  0844 - 2482 100.

Thanks for the information Mike.

Unfortunately I only need one return crossing this year (no Le Mans) and as it was during the school holiday the price was quite high, however by booking with Myferries it was still a useful £37 cheaper than P&O.

Yes - MFL certainly get my vote for the best operator on the Dover/Calais route, with excellent service both on and off the ships, modern clean vessels, and sensible prices.  They may not give the 'Experience' sold by P&O, but for the price differeence I would stand all the way!

I have used both DFDS and MyFerryLink over the past six months and have booked via aferry.com website for both.

Great prices and prompt service via a good website booking system.

Unabashed advertising from me to acknowledge good service from the company.

It is good to see good value offers and also a pleasure to take advantage of them !.

Go Travel !
